        I had the wedding of my dreams at Hiwassee River Weddings on November 4th, 2023! The venue is absolutely breathtaking year round and provides so much natural beauty to complement any flowers/decor. The owners and their staff went above and beyond. They were so encouraging, communicative, and accommodating! I couldnt imagine having had my wedding anywhere else. - Dava (and Alex) Emelianov

        The folks at Hiwassee River Weddings made my daughters wedding day a truly magical experience. The venue itself is so beautiful and the attention to her big day made it a stress-free and completely enjoyable experience. Bill and his staff were so kind and friendly. They helped throughout the entire process and truly cared that her day was perfect. I am so thankful for the wonderful pictures and priceless memories made at this venue.

        Had my wedding here this past weekend! It was a lovely experience. I will say this venue is quite beautiful, and Bill (the owner) is very sweet. I will treasure my memories here with my husband forever and ever. My only complaints are small, and would have to be centered around the communication style with one of the venue managers, Kerri. Though she was kind and thoughtful when we spoke, I did have some annoyances in the upcoming weeks before my big day. When first booking this place, Kerri and I spoke at great length about my desires. I was assured that I could contact her at any time with more questions be it via text, phone call, or email; or whether it be day or night. I found that toward the end of needing her services, I would text with questions, and I received multiple responses telling me to send my questions via email instead if I wanted answers. So more than once I had to copy and paste an exact text message via email to get a response back. I would also get replies back with other venue employees CCd, with Kerri requesting that they answer me instead. Then, I would have to ask the CCd individual repeat questions. This contributed to my pre-wedding stress quite heavily. Aside from these small annoyances everything was absolutely PERFECT. The venue and decor made everything seem like a magical fairytale. I had MANY guests tell me it was the best wedding theyd ever been to; one guest even told me they could feel the magic in the air here. Someone else asked if we were all in a scene from a Hallmark movie, HA! What a dream. It was truly ethereal. I couldnt have asked for a prettier place to get married, and I would 10/10 do it all over again here! Thanks, Hiwassee Team, for my ultimate dream wedding in the forest!       Hello Sarah, thank you so much for the five star review and your feedback. You were stunning in your dress and your pictures are fabulous. It thrills my soul to hear that you had a magical day at our place as that is our goal for each wedding. I apologize for the confusion in the communication as I should have mentioned to you during the tour that we like to communicate the details in email so we have an email trail with everything.Your vision for your decorations were spot on. It was so cool to see everybody dressed in black with your beautiful self in the middle of everything. We are blessed to have Rebecca with Athens Flower Shop as one of our vendors as she truly cares for each and every wedding to make sure that everything is just perfect. It’s quite a chore to set up all that wisteria and she even came back the day after she set it up because she thought overnight that it needed a little tweaking. She told me you gave her a hug which made her day. Also thank you for mentioning your kind words on our staff as I wouldn’t be able to have my business if it wasn’t for them and brides like you. May your life be full of blessings as you have blessed us by getting married in our enchanted forest by the Hiwassee River. We will forever remember you all. Thank You. Bill
