The 1st thing we encountered upon our arrival was a VERY friendly, funny lady working near the main entrance when we arrived. She was very kind, had a great personality & an infectious laugh! We chatted & laughed for a minute or two & she kindly offered us ANY assistance we might need while in the store. (Note: I write this as someone who had a disabled family member w/me that day who has difficulty walking & requires using a walking aid & an assistant at all times). *A * MAJOR *SAFETY * HAZARD we noticed was going from the main store area into the next store area past the register/jewelry display & front windows. That spot in the floor is NOT level & is slanted. It did NOT have a proper, safe & secure railing to hold onto while making the transition between these areas in the store. It is the ONLY way (we saw) to access the other 1/2 of the store. It felt very unstable in this particular area with this set-up they had (or rather, the lack of). So this by far was an instant turn-off for us from a safety standpoint. So, just BE CAREFUL! I'd hate for someone to get hurt if you were to fall. OUTSIDE: They DO have clearly marked handicap accessible parking spots that are located in close proximity to the front store entrance, the parking lot is large & they are conveniently located on the Main Rd. in town w/nearby access to a 4-way stop light & close to several local restaurants, banks & shops. Very convenient location for patrons in all different areas of the county! MAIN IMPRESSION OF STORE: This store was clean, well decorated & laid-out nicely(some areas were a bit overcrowded w/an over abundance of kitchen & dining room table sets) & they had friendly employees eager to help customers. The store was mostly FURNITURE w/very few other categories of items.(They had some various decor type items, lamps, vintage jewelry, rugs, etc. but nowhere near the type or selection or style of store we expected & under the impression that it was.) If you are thinking it is like a thrift or resale shop with a little bit of everything in numerous categories with reasonable discount prices, it's definitely NOT that type of store. (This store in MY opinion is mainly a UPSCALE Used FURNITURE store). Their items are nice, didn't look broken & crudy like some others might). But... With it being upscale items it definitely had UPscale Prices. In my opinion, though items were nice...they are USED & PRE-OWNED Items so they should have prices that reflect that & not a price tag that is as high, or higher, as a brand new piece. FINAL THOUGHTS: This is not likely to be a store that we'll return to anytime soon because of the facts & opinions stated above. As everyone has their own opinion, the above is just that - MY opinion based on my personal experience with this store. As always, I do wish this company the best of luck in their business & wish them much success in the future! My opinions & reasoning for ranking it with 3 out of 5 stars: * Safety Hazard with unlevel floor, ramp & poor/lack of sturdy hand railings. Someone could fall & become injured. * Pricing - High pricing for used merchandise vs. Buying it new. * Lack of different categories of merchandise being sold. Too few creating lack of variety & selection.
