    I will NEVER rent with this company again. I signed a lease with them and at first everything was good. However, I got pregnant and was too sick to work during covid (this was in 2020.) I was running out of savings and no room in local homeless shelters, so I called them explaining my situation, that I was an about to be homeless pregnant single mom during covid and in and out of the hospital. I didnt want to stop being able to pay rent and force them to evict me, so I told them I could pay a few more months AND they could keep my security deposit, and asked them to let me out of the lease 2 months early. This way they wouldnt miss out on any income or be forced to go through the process of evicting me (which, this was just a couple months before the eviction ban was put in place, so if I had tried to wait it out I couldve lived there rent free for a longgg time). They said they understood and agreed, said it wouldnt be a problem. Then when I moved out, they said they dont know who I talked to (there was only two people in the office at the time, so it was a game of he-said-she-said) and they were going to sue me for breaking the lease. I was a teenager at the time and didnt know I shouldve gotten this agreement in writing so they couldnt pretend they didnt know what I was talking about. After leaving, they sent me my bill now logically, it wouldve been for the two months left in the lease, minus the security deposit (plus cleaning fees out of that deposit). With my rent being $450/month, it shouldve been just over $1000 for the two months plus cleaning fees, minus my security deposit.. so $600. They sued me for OVER $2600. I called and offered to pay $900 for my two months I had left on the lease (and completely letting them have my security deposit, so theyre really getting $1350..) if they would agree to settle my debt, even though they had broken our agreement.. because I just wanted to put it behind me. They DENIED my offer because they wanted to sue me for the full amount.. oh and by the way, they had my apartment filled a week after I moved out, so they missed out on NO income at all. They are liars and crooks and will lie to your face to try to squeeze as much money out of a sick, homeless teenager as possible. They will NEVER get a penny out of me after I offered to pay them MORE than a fair amount, you can NOT trust their word. Ive learned my lesson, always get everything in writing, but I dont want them to prey on anyone else.. youre better off going literally anywhere else, or a homeless shelter, than giving these crooks your money.

    I pay my rent on time or early every month, never had a problem with G&G and have been renting from them for 3 years. They keep their monthly rates affordable and have always answered maintenance requests immediately. Even once when we were snowed in, they somehow found a way to get maintenance here and fixing our heating! I've been quite happy with them so far, there's no hassle, the places are clean and nice, not a bad company to rent from!

    I've rented from G&G for just shy of 9 years and I don't have a single negative thing to say about them. With the few maintenance requests I've ever put in, they have always responded to them the same day. Joe, one of the maintenance workers for G&G, is super friendly and gets repairs done very quickly. The bug guy they have that comes by monthly is also extremely friendly and professional and I've never had a single issue with bugs in this apartment.I am moving out of state or I would continue renting from them. I can't recommend them enough.
