Adoration Home Health - Cookeville, Tennessee

My experience with Adoration was always so good. I had my knees done 10 months apart, although my Dr. was not in favor of therapy at home he actually agreed it had worked well. I give credit to my therapist Sherry, who made me feel so comfortable. Now, she was also tough and didn't let me just quit. We became good friends. If I ever need to have therapy again I will contact Adoration and ask for Sherry. I have recommended your care to other people. I hope your business continues to grow. Everyone has been so kind. From the first home visit to the last home visit I have nothing but positive things to say about Adoration. Chris set up my sessions after coming to my home and knew the treatments I needed. Then meeting Ryan and having him come weekly helped my recovery to get on the right path after my neck surgery. Their knowledge was always evident and to top that off both were very personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Adoration for therapy needs to anyone. Adorations in Cookeville was the worst home health experience we have had. Nursing staff seemed inexperienced and could not do a blood draw, ended up at the doctors office to draw blood where the staff is able to get it first try every time. Staff would call with only a moments notice for a visit. The doctor would have to reorder things to be done because they would never show up to do it. A wound was forming on her bottom and the assistant director said he would order stuff for it, this never happened. If you call after hours good luck getting a nurse visit, the only advice we ever received was to go to the ER even when completely unnecessary. When a nurse was requested to come out one evening due to a wound, she refused, we were told to go to the ER. Also important to note that when you call after hours someone answers in another state. We spoke to the director and let them know all that was occurring, they could care less and nothing changed so we switched and we are having a much better experience with a different company. The only positive we can about this company would be PT (both Chris and Ryan) were excellent and knowledgeable, however they seemed to be getting busy and overwhelmed so visits were cut. Great nursing and PT where we are now and she is getting it 3x a week as she was supposed to previously. I dont often leave reviews but I know how hard it is to find good healthcare these days and if this can help someone as you make tough decisions advocating for those you love, then it was worth my time in sharing.
