I was at this practice last year for my right eye no problem so when I needed my left eye done, I made my appointment. I was told one fee upfront but they are covered under insurance however they wanted payment in advance by me. They still havent submitted anything to my insurance company and to make Matters worse after the procedure was completed the original price quoted was not what they wanted me to pay it had increased by more then $300.00 which Im glad I didnt pay. I have tried calling but nobody calls back ever

To be clear, I received excellent eye health care by Dr. Nguyen & staff while there, and if that was the end of it, they would have earned a 5 star review. BUT----this appt has cost me so much more in stress than the original issue I went there for. I received multiple calls for several days(almost harrassing) by the billing/scheduling dept prior to my actual appointment. I received one quote for the procedure I would most likely need, but since my insurance wouldn't cover any portion of it, I received a final self-pay estimate over the phone just an hour before my appointment. Upon arrival, I received that final quote IN WRITING per their charge codes. I signed this contract and it is included in my records. After my visit and procedure, I checked out and paid the bill in full. IN FULL-$553. A few weeks later, I received a bill from Eye Health Partners for $1278, due immediately. In all those stalking phone calls I received prior to my appointment, I never heard any amount even close to that, and in addition, the payment I made at the office wasn't even noted on the account! This is where a ZERO star review comes in. I called both the number on the statement-the billing dept as well as the actual dr. office--I tried every day for a week. I NEVER received a call back from billing. I finally got a hold of Beth on 2/27 and she assured me I should have never been billed and this matter would be cleared up. Yeah right. On 3/10, I received another bill for the same amount minus the $553 paid in the office. These jokers are still harrassing me for $725 THAT WE NEVER AGREED TO IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. And once again, I called hourly--both the office and the billing dept. No one ever answers the phone and no phone calls are returned by their generic customer service numbers. I finally received a call from the Exec Director, stating this is the first message she has received and that the bill I am receiving makes no sense. She was determined to get to the bottom of it, but the statement in the dr. office doesn't match the statement received from the billing dept. The charges by charge code don't match-huge Audit red flag. They sent a statement from the office records showing a $0 balance, but I won't feel that this matter is resolved til I receive the final statement from Billing on their next 30 day cycle. I whole-heartedly think, it may still reflect the $725 balance, now aged to 90 days old and can then be sent to collections. We'll just have to wait and see. It is ridiculous the amount of time and stress that healthcare providers put their own customers through due to lack of communication and consistency. If you're going to put phone numbers on your bill, then ANSWER THE DANG PHONE! And resolve issues before they get to this point.

Dr. Bregmann and his staff were awesome. Helped me cope with a bit of anxiety for cataract surgery on my first eye. Took excellent care of me. And his staff? Loving and nurturing. He even played music to further relax me. Sp

Dr. Bregman and his staff were truly amazing and comforting. I was terrified to have the lazer eye surgery. I was also terrified to be there in general. The staff actually held my hand and soothed me through the process. He was careful in his work performed and patient with my stress. The ladies at the desk were just as caring.
