Following my divorce, Cliff began to call and harass me. He had developed a friendship with my ex husband and took it upon himself to be deceitful and inform me that there was a problem with my payment and he needed an updated bank account and routing number. I was extremely busy working at that time and needed to call back. When I did, one of his honest workers told me she didnt understand why I was calling because there wasnt any problems at all with the insurance payments. The payments were made on time and everything was up to date. I thanked her for the information. When Cliff called yet again telling me the information needed to be updated because of my payment I let him know I had already spoken to someone in the office and I was aware that there wasnt anything wrong with the payments or the account numbers. He began to ask me how I could continue to let my ex husband pay my insurance for me. Why did I feel I deserved to have my ex husband paying insurance for a house that became mine in the divorce. It wasnt any of his business who was paying the bill as long as the bill was being paid. He didnt have the right to lie and misrepresent the insurance policy based on what he believed was me taking advantage of my ex husband. The reality was my ex husband wasnt paying any of the child support, debts, etc that he was supposedly to pay and the insurance was the only thing he was taking care of. When Cliff couldnt convince me to do what he said, he tried to tell me since my home was for sale it was empty and not being lived in so that would void my insurance. I provided the listing that showed my home was listed as occupied. This harassment continued until I sold my home. So yes, Farmers insurance is good insurance and yes, the other people working in the office were honest with me and friendly when I called. But I would genuinely say anyone that would be this judgmental and invasive in someones personal life shouldnt even be in business. I have never experienced something so unprofessional in my life and I would be surprised if Im the only one hes done this to. It is not a false review. I have phone records showing the calls from your office to my cell phone. I also documented the information with an email to friends at the time. It most assuredly did happen.
