I HAVE NOT WORKED FOR HOME INSTEAD LONG,BUT THE TIME I HAVE BEEN THERE I CAN SAY THE LADIES ARE GREAT,BUT MR.SCOTT IS A KIND AND PATIENT MAN.HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP YOU.AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY ,THEY HAVE ALWAYS CALLED ME TO GET MY PERMISSION IF I CAN WORK A SHIFT.A LOT OF PLACES I HAVE WORKED WOULD JUST PUT ME ON THE SCHEDULE WITHOUT ASKING.I ENJOY WORKING HERE.

We've been dealing with this company for over a year now. The communication is HORRIBLE or non existent. Scott, a "manager", and Michelle, a "newer manager" lie about what they've done or what they will do. The company has a client care coordinator come to your home to set up a "plan" as to what is going to be done, yet it doesn't occur as agreed upon. OFTEN times the aides don't show up, and there's rarely a call to let you know, and most times no one to replace them. Many of the aides are NOT qualified to take care of these patients, nor do they have the desire to care for them. If you go with this company, be sure to get every single person's name you speak to, the date and what they said. If you can get documentation, GET IT. Be prepared to have to explain, watch, and go over duties that need to be done, again and again. It's sad that people go into this occupation, and don't have the love, nor compassion for the patients and their families. I don't know who is truly in charge, nor who is supposed to follow up with making sure things are being done, and done correctly, because it doesnt happen. Again, no one takes accountability for their actions, words, or lack-there-of. Don't let them fool you. I WILL say, the aides need to be paid FAR more than what they are. You can't expect a high quality of care, with such low wadges.

I have been working for Home Instead for over 4 years. Over the past 4 years, I have seen struggles and accomplishments with our clients, their families, and our Professional Caregivers. I love hearing how our clients and their caregivers are doing and what we do makes a difference to their families. As someone who deals with over 150 different schedules everyday, it can be challenging to make the right matches between client-caregiver. It is rewarding to see and hear the success stories when those matches are the right fit.

I have worked for this company for 16 years. I started out as a caregiver then was an ambassador. I then went to work in the office in HR and now I work as Client Care Specialist. I love this position as I get to be more involed with the clients and family. I would use this company for family members when the time may come.
