Dr. Nelson is so kind and compassionate. He has amazing bedside manners. I cant say enough about him. I had been in and out of the hospital for 8 months when I was finally referred to him. He was honest and clear about everything and helped me making an informed decision. I put my trust in him and have no regrets. I am finally on the road to recovery and would recommend him to anyone.

This doctor may have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today but my experience with him I would not wish on anyone. I have been dealing with severe pain for over a year now and have been told I had a stricture 2 times with 2 different ct scans, I was also hospitalized because I was told I had an obstruction.. in all fairness I have had 2 follow throughs that did not show a stricture.. so granted they may be wrong any or all of the test..But Dr. Nelson insits that they are wrong and he is right and told me that I just need to ignore my pain.. he made me feel like he was saying it was in my head even though he said several times he knew it wasn't. I do not take pain medication but yet he seemed to make me feel as if I am an addicted of some kind. He said it was a habit way of thinking.... I am sick of Doctors not being able to find out what is going on and then blaming you for their short comings.. he spent a total of 10 minutes with me before he was convinced all the other doctors was wrong and he was right.. years of going to school to tell someone to ignore the pain that has cost them a normal life ;) I hope no one else ever has to deal with such lack of compassion from a doctor.
