My whole family sees Dr Zimmerman. All the staff are very sweet, and the doctor is wonderful.

As someone very familiar with this office, I would like to respond to Nancy's review. She has confused Beacon Family Medicine with another office. There is no after hours clinic at Beacon Family Medicine, Red Bank, nor baby care - it is adult and adolescent care only. Drs. Kemp and Zimmerman are incredible. I would trust them with the health of any of my family members.

After a couple of family friends recommended him. I got established with Dr. Zimmerman and I was very pleased with my visit. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and eager to answer my questions. Beacon's Red Bank office location is conveniently located within Erlanger North on the ground floor. If you're looking for a family doctor, give Beacon a call and ask about setting up an appointment with Dr. Zimmerman.

On 10/18/2018, my daughter took her 6 month old daughter to the After Hours Clinic because she had a croupy cough and chest congestion . It was getting close to the weekend so she wanted her to be seen. There also been some exposure to RSV and wanted her checked for that. Tammy Wingo usherd us into the treatment area from the waiting room. She weighed my granddaughter but didnt translate the kilo calculation into pounds for us. She seemed unfamiliar with her surroundings. She did not indentify herself as the attending physician until I asked. She had no name tag. She looked in the babys ears and said one ear had an infection. My daughter asked how bad did it look, like pus? She said it was red. She clumsily did a rectal that caused our baby to cry out. She tried repeatedly to get an oxygen level from her foot but not successful. The RSV test came back negative. The diagnosis was ear infection and medications were described. A cough syrup, a steroid and amoxicillin. Neither my daughter nor I felt confident in this doctors assessments and prescribed treatment. The next morning my daughter and I took the baby to see her pediatrician. No ear infection. None at all. The pediatrician advices not to give a steroid to a baby and discontinue amoxicillin. Shed only had one dose. We highly recommend not to see this physician. Weve been to this facility many other times and were highly satisfied with The competency of the physicians. But not this one.
