I originally booked with a third party reservation company for the wrong dates. The staff helped sort things out and I was able to change the dates. Rooms were clean and rustic charm. We wanted to stay in a train cart but it wouldn't fit all of us. Overall quiet, clean, within walking distance to bars and eateries. Will definitely book again. Rooms: Clean with rustic charm. Bed was very comfortable. Nearby activities: Eateries and bars are all within walking distances. Large grass field for kids to play.

They up charge you for every thing you can imagine. Walls are paper thin so its 1am and Im listening to the drunk couple in the room adjacent to mine talk. Then you get to the room and its community shampoo bottles that can be filled with the last guests urine for all anyone knows. Disgusting They dont even give you free water when you check in, Ive never heard of a hotel not providing water.

Overall: I have mixed feelings on if I would return or not. There is plenty room for growth, however theres lots of potential. Cons: In the lobby, the lighting was pretty dim (for some this may be a great aesthetic). The lighting in the rooms also could have been a bit brighter, they followed the same dim aesthetic. The hospitality was poor (and borderline racist) except for John (the manager) and housekeeping. Parking on property was very hard to find, due to whatever event was happening next door, so I had to ask to be comped for 2 out of 3 nights. If you dont look up what is offered ahead of time, you wont know what the hotel offers. We asked for ice one night (since there is no ice machine for guests) and never received it. We called for ice the next day and finally received it, but in a bucket with no plastic bag and no lid. Also wish there was a microwave, so those who brought food back from the restaurant. $75/night for incidentals is a bit much and shouldve been communicated ahead of time. For the expectation, it was a bit underwhelming. I dont believe it was worth the price, at this moment. Pros: Other than those issues, the stay was pretty calm and relaxing. The water pressure in the shower is TOP TIER! The rooms were spacious and pretty clean. John was very friendly and accommodating. The other male associate was nice and friendly. Housekeeping was very pleasant and appreciative! They are in great proximity to some wonderful restaurants and attractions since it is downtown.

Horrible experience. Arrived 04.02.2024 @ 5:04 pm. As we were getting out the car, Corey met us and greeted us, and asked did we need help with our bags, walked us into the hotel. Checked in, went to room and the toilet was not working called front desk Maintenace came up and 'fixed' the toilet. Later that evening we went out to grab food, when we made it back in and wanted to take showers to wind down for the night we notice hair in the shower, and on the towels in the restroom. We took pictures to show the front desk staff, because it was late we decided to address the concerns the next morning (we did not use any of the towels in the restroom) the next morning we go to the front desk, with pictures of the hair and to also ask them about the "train car room" (which we thought this is the room we booked) we spoke w/Catlyn. Catlyn looked in the system and said that she had a train car room, and she will block it off and hold it for us, and she would call us as soon as it was ready (we never received a call) When we made it back to the hotel for the day housekeeping came and made the beds, but still left the hair in the shower, and on the towels. We called back to front desk, and housekeeping Supervisor Jonae came up. Apologized, and called housekeeping staff to come and reclean the room. Jonae was amazing, super concern, very friendly, and went above to make sure the job was done correctly. Well, the toilet was not "fixed" it was temporarily fixed. We had to call Maintenace again. This time a young guy came up "fixed" it and said the last Maintenace person forgot to turn it back on. Later that evening Chris (Housekeeping Supervisor) stopped by the room, to check on us again, and to apologize for the inconvenience. Chris took us on a tour to see the train car room (that we were promised but never happened) Well guess what we had toilet issues again, this time Jeremy came up and said that he apologizes that he see what the problem is, and he will be right back to get a tool and get the problem solved, he was leaving for the night and if anything else happen front desk will call him, and he can walk them through how to fix the problem. The next morning, we decide we will do an early check out, we asked if we can speak with the General Manager Jessica. A guy sitting at the desk, walked into a room that state "private on the door." came back and said how can I help you. I asked who you are, and what is your name, he paused and said John. When I expressed my concerns to John, he said weel Maintenace said there was no issues with your toilet. (At that point I shared with John some of the personal things that Jermery shared with us, because we had no reason to lie about the toilet acting up. (When other hotel guest was having toilet issues) I am the front desk manager. Jessica (General Manager) is in a meeting. I said OK, we can wait for her. I expressed my concerns with her, we were promised a train car room, we were expecting a call back from Caitlyn, John should have introduced himself to us, and how well the Bellman Corey, and housekeeping staff Jonae, and Chris treated us. I would like to give a huge shout out the Corey, Joane, and Chris. Jessica did comp our stay. This was a horrible experience.
