Jonathan and the entire team at New Blue were fantastic from start to finish. We chatted with several contractors for our project and Jonathan took the time to actually listen to what we wanted and more than delivered. They provided great recommendations, and what few subcontractors they needed, were also fantastic to work with. During one of our numerous conversations with Jonathan, he said that people have a certain perception of contractors, and they hope to change that. I believe they will, one client at a time. New Blue Construction is an outstanding company. We selected them for complete renovation of our 1923 North Chatt bungalow and really are pleased with the choice. New Blue started by understanding our project goals and plans, asking key early questions we hadnt fully considered. When we started demo, we found things, both good and not so good, that called for adjusting our priorities and opportunities. They were so good at working with us to think it through. We also wanted to pitch in, having a bit of wood-working experience. The team made that part of the project, giving of themselves to help us work through the details and work along side us at times. Further, the crew had such high standards, fitting everything with great care. The property was well maintained throughout, always secured at the end of the work day. Finally, Stuart Gaines has impeccable standards. He inspected the project when we had a problem with a concrete pour, and immediately ordered it be redone; he wants everything to be something he will stand behind. Particularly in the COVID 2020 time period, with supply disruptions and labor shortages, we couldnt be more glad we went with New Blue. The relationships they have with quality subcontractors really made a difference. The results are truly better than we imagined!
