Nancy & Wallace have created a great oasis to get way! Every detail has thoroughly been thought out from the decor, to the cozy feel, to the food, & the personal greeting when you arrive. We loved sitting on the back porch drinking our wine, listening to the birds and chimes, & enjoying the relaxing garden. Very conveniently located & easy to find. St. Francis Cottage is a definite if visiting or passing through Chattanooga! Loved our short visit!

This is a wonderfully comfortable and private B&B, run by Wallace and Nancy, two warm, lovely and interesting people dedicated to making your stay the best ever! The food was tasty and beautifully presented. Refreshments were always available, including fresh yummy cookies. Reading the reviews of others, we wholeheartedly agree with all the accolades and descriptions! Our experience was way beyond expectation. We stayed a couple of nights for an anniversary get-away. The Sunflower room was comfortable, beautifully decorated with a sunflower theme, and the bed was probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in away from home. There's a lot to do in Chattanooga besides the popular Rock City, Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. We took a fun and informative short train ride (TVRM Missionary Ridge Local), saw a great performance of "Murder on the Orient Express" at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, and attended an up-close-and-personal concert of one of our favorite bands at The Woodshop. Nestled up a hill and back off the road, you'd never know you were so close to a busier area of Chattanooga. The quiet and peace at St. Francis Cottage was most welcome. We can't sing their praises enough! We certainly hope to be back soon! Rooms: A variety of beautiful rooms, each one different. Lots of windows for great views.

We completley enoyed our stay at St Francis Cottage. Wallace and Nancy were the Perfect hosts, providing exceptional, on-point recommendations and directions. The breakfast each morning was incredible, and our room was like an oasis. We would absolutely hope to book a future reservation, and will offer similar reviews to our friends and family. Nearby activities: Lots to do for indoor/outdoor enthusiasts alike. Safety: We were never concerned re: safety/security; we felt truly, right at home. Walkability: Nearby parks were exceptional and easy to find, and the trails were easy to traverse. Food & drinks: Cookies and beverages available in the evening, in addition to the grand breakfast, were a real treat, and most appreciated.

I visited about 3 weeks ago for my boyfriend's birthday. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the "back home" feel to the decor. We stayed in the Cardinal room. I loved the reading nook area. The B&B is in the city but you couldn't tell it due to what Mr. Wallace said was sound proofing. The bed was the most comfortable I'd been in in a long time. I loved the breakfast Mrs. Nancy prepared (I had been craving pancakes). We only stayed 1 night, we will be back soon to enjoy the garden.
