Very disappointed. Staff was nice enough but I guess theres a time limit on pets bc I literally had an appointment today to adopt an animal but was informed three hours before my appointment that the pet I was going to adopted today had already been adoptedkinda makes me not even want to get to adopt an animal from here again bc whats the point of schedule an adoption with someone and then turning around and letting someone else adopt the same animal? Im just really confused. If theres a time limit or something they should really just say so. Bc apparently an appointment doesnt mean anything.

Troopers treasures is a compassionate rescue . They always go beyond to get a rescue furkid healthy to join their furever family. They rescue not only puppies who require vet care but also medical emergency cases from dogs being attacked from hawks , hit by cars, many severe cases and the founder of said rescue not once says anything about vet visits in what the pet needs. I highly recommend this rescue . They will spend 1000s of dollars to help a pet get healthy.

The heart is there but very misleading, at least in my case. We adopted a sweet girl they had listed on both pet finder and their fb page. Under the pet finder description it claimed she was up to date on shots, spay/neutered and house trained. When we get to petco to adopt her were informed she has to be spayed by July. Understandable, after we find out shes 3 months and not old enough to have already been spayed. At pick-up I also asked if she has had her flea and tick prevention (because we would get some there if not) and I was told she had been treated. We get her home and notice her scratching and gnawing at herself to a point of whining like shes in pain from scratching. You can see the fleas crawling on her and flea eggs in my bed. Its clear she hasnt had any decent flea prevention in some time. Shes not house trained at all. In fact, Ill have her outside for 30 minutes at a time and she wont go to the bathroom until we get inside. Its like shes more comfortable using the bathroom inside as if thats what shes used to. Im hoping with time that changes and can contribute it to nerves/new environment and not another piece of false information they listed although she doesnt seem nervous at all here. I understand she is a puppy and the potty thing can change but please dont mislead potential adopters. We paid $275 for our girl and have since racked up a bill with flea and tick medication and future training, spaying we thought was already included in our payment. All worth it but disappointed in the misleading information. Buyers deserve to know what to be prepared for prior to adoption.
