        I saw Dr. Rutherford in August 2022. He charged me $112.50 and also was paid from the insurance company. I started my quest for my money to be returned in September 2022 after finding out the insurance company had paid him. Double billing? Isnt that against the law. Ive called many times with the insurance company on the phone as they (Rutherfords office) made every excuse why they hadnt reimbursed me. I continued to call for 15 months and still keep hearing excuse after excuse. I saw this doctor 1 time for approximately 10 minutes. He wasnt able to do anything for me then charged me $112.50 and charged the insurance company. I understand why he charged me for the same service the insurance company paid. He wouldve been paid less from them compared to what he charged me. Its called being greedy. I filed complaints with Tenn Care against him. Think twice before paying him and if you owe him money..do what he doesthe check is in the mail.
