      image Been going to honky to is/clubs for 30 yrs. The music was so loud that the ear plugs I use for mowing, riveting, shooting, cutting, would not have sufficed. The band was good but the decibel level exceeded enjoyment level. The Nashville Sound/Electric Cowboy/Rockin Horse/Country Club/Blind Horse (in SC)/Cotton Eyed Joes were never this loud. Never even considered ear plugs in them.
