    It's a HUGE no from me and let me tell you why: They will accept you as a patient saying they can get you fully staffed in 2 weeks, then NEVER staff your case.This prevents families from getting another company and just being at their mercy. They allow no call/no shows without penalty and still continuously schedule the same dang staff that never show up, and half the time dont let families know if staff have called out. They dont fire staff who fall asleep on the job (like pillow and blankie on the couch ignoring a patient on a vent & oxygen, asleep - twice), make horrible mistakes (incompetent), etc. They commit Medicaid fraud. Management is AWFUL to get ahold of, lie to your face, and are awful to deal with. And the #1 biggest reason is because of what happened to one of my potential cases where they LIED to Medicaid that the family was refusing nurses and being difficult to work with (mom would call asking when a nurse would be staffed and they got mad at her persistance and especially when she asked to go to another company). Then, they retaliated after mom called Medicaid to let them know that wasnt the case at all and even gave them a detailed call histors. Then, reported the family to DCFS that the children were neglected, baby was unsafe with mom, the home was inappropriate for nursing staff to be able to come in, and then had the absolute AUDACITY to say the mom was walking around in just a bra in front of the nurses WHEN THEY NEVER SENT A SINGLE NURSE FOR A SINGLE SHIFT to the patient house. I was a nurse just hired on with them to take care of this family and this all happened during my onboarding. I had baby-sat for the baby a couple times as they and I were waiting to get approved, and am absolutely APPALLED at Maxim's actions. Ive worked as an RN for 17 years and for 2 different home health care companies; I know what neglect looks like and I know how Home Health companies are supposed to work and act. After seeing and hearing this happen, I reported it back to the office admin who coyld care less and were part of the lies, so I escalated up the chain of command to report the office and their behaviors. The regional VP had ZERO idea the office had done this. I had a full 1hour conference call with all kinds of execs and HR detailing everything. I have volunteered to be a witness for the family's lawsuit against Maxim. And they still call and email me regularly asking if I am interested in working for them...seriously? BIG NO. ** Please do not work for this company or hire this company to help care for your medically fragile child!!!! **

    I cant in good conscience recommend this company to any licensed healthcare workers. 3 recruiters in one year, a serious lack of communication, chronic mismanagement, and clear incompetence were enough for me to protect my license and walk away. If this is your best option, I strongly recommend you obtain liability insurance before starting work and stay extremely vigilant throughout employment with this company. As if healthcare isnt struggling enough already, we need these companies to DO BETTER.

    I have worked for Maxim in three different states. I started working for the Brentwood TN office this year. My recruiter is Mitch Gibbs. He is very thorough in doing his job. He is very knowledgeable in his job. When there was an issue with some paperwork, I informed him and he straightened it out very quickly. He has paired me with a family that is amazing. He stays in contact with me to make sure everything is going well. There really needs to be more people like him doing this job. I have been an RN for 34 years and he is by far the most fair and personable recruiter I have ever worked for. He is why I work for Maxim in the Nashville area. Keep up the good work Mitch
