Mixed bag, but generally standard fare for this caliber of room/business. Lots of drug-related activity, and not of the white collar sort either. We're talking crackhead, let me get a cigarette, don't even feed them once kind of situation. There is absolutely zero service or staffing that can help with anything, and when I first paid, the woman was literally brushing her teeth the whole time, pausing intermittently only to let me know she has no idea what the English language has to do with anything at all; never once have I felt more like my life couldn't possibly have this really in it and expect me to just keep on like everything was right on track. Next week, she on the fly, then and there upped the prices - and couldn't even do the math correctly. But, there is little in the way of problems in the newer two story rooms, and I actually do like it. Not really any bugs, hot water with a decent span of time before going cold, appliances all functional/clean, and wifi exists however weak it may be every now and then (password: good stay). Final word of wisdom to ye brave souls daring venture here? Don't even CONSIDER accepting any room from 101115 or so. If the building isn't two stories, refuse the room. Mark my words. But it's fine all in all. Thanks and be blessed today. Rooms: Get one from the double story side. Or else. Nearby activities: Stores, lots to eat, scenic walks and good bike routes. Safety: Crackhead drama, minor threat, big annoyance/frustration. Walkability: Great, almost in the center of the city. Food & drinks: As far as the hotel? NONE. go to family dollar.
