Life Care Center of Athens

Former Charge Nurse from April of 2017 to September of 2019. I was a 3rd shift Charge Nurse and I really enjoyed my time working there!! It had its ups and downs like anywhere else but all in all I enjoyed my time there till I moved away and got married. The following year my dad fell ill and when my mother asked me where to send my dad for rehab after he was discharged from the hospital I immediately told her Life Care of Athens because I knew that he would be well taken care of. The CNAs are wonderful as well as all the staff there at Life Care are,and Brenda Walker the Weekend Nurse Supervisor is a hard working saint!! God Bless her!! She was great with my dad before he passed away a few days later there!! All the staff was wonderful, hardworking, took very good care of my dad and would absolutely recommend this place to anybody needing to put a family member in a nursing home!!

This place is a joke this guy in there thinks he can abuse my grandfather his names Joe and I'll be down there to see him I promise!!!! I do not recommend this place for anyone!!!

Incredible job in a difficult business. Stable staffing. Attention to detail. World class communication. By far the best we could ask for for our mother. Award winning facility. We are grateful for Life Care Center of Athens memory care unit.

Nursing and therapy staff took excellent care on my aunt in November of 2022 and my mom in March of 2023. Both have returned home and are doing great! Highly recommend this facility for your rehab needs!

I think it is shameful that your cna Emily Meeks calls stroke patients glimps that is awful. I wouldn't let anyone come there. She says alot of other things that people don't want to hear.
