    Jose arrived right on time to open up our irrigation system as scheduled. He ran each zone and made some suggestions due to the fact that we had changed some of our plantings. He moved a couple heads and replaced a couple, in order to better water our plants and lawn. Very professional and knowledgable. We have used SWI for several years and will continue to use them. Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

    My old sprinkler man disappeared. I went with SmartWater as a replacement. I had them blow out and shut off my system last fall. This spring I had to completely disconnect my system using a different company due to the backflow valve bursting where the water froze during the very cold weather last winter. It was more cost effective than repairing the damaged system. Prior to completely disconnecting, I had asked them to test, turn on, fix a leak in the front flower bed, and finally mark some heads in backyard. As mentioned it failed the test due to huge hole in the backflow valve assembly from water freezing. They dug 3 holes in my front yard instead of fixing leak in front flower bed. They did mark the heads. The bill was nearly $500 for confirming the backflow valve was broken, they did not mention the huge hole in the backflow valve assembly. I found out later when plumber disconnected system how bad it really was when he showed me the valve assembly. My advise, don't assume anything and get competitive bids. Be prepared to speak Spanish to these workers. They may be nice guys, but you need to know the language to make sure you are on top of the work done. Finally, observe the work, as I had to go back inside to work myself, and did not observe what they did until after the fact. Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

Afternoon Dwight. Nice to hear from you again after being yelled at and insulated over the phone. We both knew this review was coming, but I take solace in knowing that I will never hear from you again.To hit all your points:"Some guy" never showed up. And was cheaper? But the reputable company who shows up at their scheduled appointment time and performs the work scheduled costs more? Yes they do and that is why they are still in business. If you would have called ANY other Irrigation only company in the city you would have found we are actually on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Our prices are very much "competitive" as you say. You called a reputable company with a long track record of great customer service and workmanship and expected it to cost as much as the "guy who disappeared". When our trucks need service, we do not take them to Jackson Ave. We take them to Ford, pay more, and trust that the service was done right. We are not Jackson Ave.As far as the language barrier, There was not one. Jose has been im the United States for 20 years and Enrique was born here. That is just another in your string of insults sinve our first conversation. A conversation that NEVER started with "hey Daniel, do you think you could help me out on this bill, I think its a little too much". I take joy in helping people and that's why I am in the service business. You were on the attack from the second i picked my phone up.
