Avis Car Rental

Vehicle was dirty inside and out. It was a hybrid but the battery was dead. The interior was basty, no excuse Avis!

You booked for a SUV and Avis would assign a lower vehicle and dont waste time to contact them if you try to cancel the order within 5 minutes you would be $50 charge Very unprofessional

I have been trying to reach this particular Avis for 3 weeks now and have had no answer. I have an item I think is lost and trying to claim it. I call the department and no pick up, I call the operator no pick up, I call any other department and they arent there to answer my question.

I had a price for my rental and it showed a price with the fees and taxes. After drop off I get a email saying they are charging me another $150+. So I called customer support and they said the price increased since I was to pick up the car Friday and didnt pick it up until the next day. Well that was because my flight got delayed until the next morning. I gave the flight information when I booked and they were to track that information, as that is what the auto messsge said when I called to inform them I would pick it up the next day. Crazy that just because you pick up a day later that they want to charge you more money? Anyways after telling support I gave them the flight info and called them, she said she would credit that extra back in a few days. Update: they did give me a refund but less$20 and now the bill shows a $15.99 fuel fee even though it was returned with a full tank? Waiting on an explanation from them. Got an email from Avis about the fuel charge and its for people that dont want to fuel it up on return. I refused that when I rented and filled it up 1 mile from the airport before returning. The first billing didnt show this but the second one did after they refunded the over charged amount for picking the car up a day late. No more Avis for me.
