I recently purchased an item through Proxibid which is a company Peterson Auctioneers used to sell the item, the auction company decided to label this item as something it wasn't but I couldn't have known until I received the item 10 days later. When I won the item I waited a couple days without hearing anything from the seller so I decided to contact them, first I called and left a message and then later I sent them an email, after 8 days I called again and sent a second email where Cody finally responded that afternoon with "It should have shipped yesterday?" I then replied asking for confirmation along with a purchase receipt including shipping information but never received anything, the only way I knew it shipped was through an email letting me know I had a a purchase with I cost I wasn't aware of, after investigating I realized it was Peterson Auctioneers, the original winning bid was for $13 and the price I paid total including shipping was almost $46??? Thats $32.89 for auctions costs, taxes and shipping...I've NEVER paid this much for shipping, auction costs or taxes on a $13 item, ever! I have tried reaching out on MULTIPLE occasions but have not received ANY response other than the "It should have shipped yesterday" response. When I finally received my item a few days later the item was clearly NOT what they represented it to be, and wouldn't you know it, they still won't respond to my complaints. This company has NO business being in the auction resale business, their customer service is GARBAGE!!! It's obvious what they truly care about.
