Turned out to be a great running trail to adventure into the woods.

Large parking area for hikers and those with ORV's. Trail head was easy to find and the trail is easy to follow all the way to the top. Beware of the endless poison ivy along the first mile of trail which was narrow with encroaching plant life including poison ivy. Once into the wooded section the trail opens up and the poison ivy clears out. Great views at the top of the entire valley, but it can get crowded as there is little room at the top and just a single track trail to the sign. Few places to sit and rest before your return trip. Please bring plenty of water in the hot months and be prepared. We ran across multiple "hikers" in flip flops and street shoes with a single 16oz bottle of water. An accident waiting to happen.
