I feel that Gretchen Hartmann is the WORSEST, MOST UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL "therapist" you could get.
She doesn't take phone calls, she doesn't respond to emails. She releases private information to third parties without legal consent! She will twist and turn things to help her mislead the courts. She feels she is never wrong. She doesn't work with Doctors or other therapist. Gretchen's processes don't work and worst of all she has no interest in the safety or well-being of children. She is to be a mandatory reporter, yet she doesn't do that! I feel she should not be allowed to call herself a therapist.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH HER!!!!!
The clinical supervisor there Kim does a GREAT job if you need a response.

Wow...were to begin. First of all, always ask your provider what degree they have. I went round and round with Carroll Counseling service to try to get credentials. I had the unfortunate encounter with Megan Carr. Carrol refused to release her credentials. NOW...I have a Bachelor's degree in Science in Nursing and working on a Doctorate. Now...Anyone dealing with counseling should have a Masters or above and also have or working on multiple degrees. The issue I have with Carr is that she lied to me and compromised her client. She actually made up a story that I have recorded on my phone. The patient actually was able to tell me the true story. Now...normally this isn't a big deal, but she led me to believe the patient was compromised emotionally. I was threatened by the Carroll institute for possible violating HIPPA...also on a recorded line. Also, if it comes down to meds...A 4 year degree can NOT prescribe meds. Plus, Carr destroyed the relationship that should be between therapist and client. Long story short...ANYONE can get a four year degee...Hell I have one. But once you start digging into a persons mind....Masters or above....PERIOD.
