Our experience with Laurel was amazing! She sent us ideas of locations and outfit color schemes to help make our decisions a little easier. She then went out of her way to check out the location we decided on, to make sure the lighting would be perfect for the time of day we needed. We have a large family, and trying to get everyone together at the same time was very hard. But Laurel worked around our schedule, even though hers was busy, to accommodate us. It started to rain and thunder before my husband and I were able to get pictures taken of just the 2 of us. Laurel didnt hesitate to say yes when we asked if we could come back and do it another day. Not only did she make us feel important, she took yet another day out of her busy schedule for us, and didn't charge us any additional fees. She spent a few hours each time with us, and took so many amazing pictures. We had a hard time deciding which ones to buy. We love how our pictures turned out, they are absolutely beautiful! We highly recommend Pixel Studios to anyone wanting professional pictures taken, for any occasion. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again Laurel, for such a great experience and for taking such beautiful pictures.

My husband and I first met Laurel after deciding to work with her for our engagement photos - we met at her studio in Rapid City. While we didnt take photos in her studio, it was a beautiful space where I have no doubt great work has been done. We took our photos in Custer State Park and she was so great to work with! Subsequently, Laurel captured our wedding day (also in the park) and when we say captured, we truly mean captured all of the emotion of our day. She was not just there taking photographs she was memorializing memories we will cherish forever. She has such a fun spirit and was a pleasure to work with. We received over 50 sneak peak images within a week after our wedding and we cannot wait to see the rest of them when theyre ready. When I inquired about a particular photo location/photograph I wanted to recreate, she went out of her way to find the exact location for us. We were, and continue to be, incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness. The time she spends on her craft and her ability to work with us/ our families throughout the course of our wedding day is unparalleled. She is extremely personable and we cannot wait to have her capture memories for us in the future. P.S. maybe Im biased, but having been in 8+ weddings/ wedding parties in the last ten years, Ive had my fair share of interactions with photographers and have observed them working with the bride/groom and other important guests. They all pale in comparison to the care and attention Laurel provided to us. My mother and sister both commented on how impressed they were with her and her ability to work with everyone. Laurel was our wedding photographer and took my business pictures. She is phenomenal to work with. During our wedding, she was friendly, helpful, full of great ideas and provided us with amazing photos that we will treasure forever. Many of our bridesmaids/groomsman commented on how pleasant she was and how much they appreciated her personality compared to wedding photographers that they had experienced in the past. As for my business pictures, I had put off getting new headshots for 6 years due to my previous experiences! But my experience with Laurel left me feeling confident, happy and relaxed. It truly was a great experience and I'm very happy with my pictures. After my headshot experience with Laurel, I'll definitely get them done more regularly. I highly recommend Laurel to anyone. She is very friendly, talented and will make your experience amazing.
