Yak Ridge is the perfect place for a family to explore the Black Hills. It is centrally located to just about everything there is to see and do, and just a short drive into either Keystone or Rapid City for restaurants, groceries, and other needs. We stayed in Cabin 1 for five nights in early spring and it was fantastic! The cabin was just as depicted in the online photos - clean and with plenty of space for two adults and two children. It came loaded with lots of books and boardgames - perfect for a family week away. We were surprised to see a welcome basket awaiting us, and arrival and departure were easy. We will definitely recommend Yak Ridge to our friends and family, and we can't wait to return!

My wife and I just spent 3 days at Yak Ridge Oct 16-19, 2021. Very nicely appointed cabins with full kitchen, nice sitting area with direct Tv and operating internet.The location was perfect for where we were visiting. I would highly recommend contacting them if youre planning on visiting Custer State Park or surrounding area. Julie was very helpful regarding places to eat or do some grocery shopping.

Very quiet and great location to stay. Our complaints were that the farm was closed. The mattresses were worn out and hard and the smoke detectors had lights on them that lit up the bedrooms. To be as expensive as it is we at least wanted a good nights sleep.
