City of Rapid City

Charged $56.xx for my old residence we moved from after we had already moved. Two days prior to moving I called to inform them to shut off the old residence and activate my new residence. I didn't have a problem paying the balance. However, I was never notified of my balance due for 6 months. We had all mail being forwarded to new address. 6 months later, I receive a bill from collections with interest tacked on there. Tell me that isn't legal without notifying me? Like I said I would have gladly paid if I had known I owed anything. Crooks! Would rate 0 stars but that is not an option.

Be careful visiting rapid city if you're disabled. There's city attorney utter jennifer. Requires you to ask permission every thirty days to use your mobility device.
