New Frontier Campground & RV Park

Traveling across the country in February on I-90 can be difficult due to most campgrounds being closed. This place was not yet open for the season. I called the number and they were happy to let us stay for the night. There was no staff so we just paid the fee in the drop box. We had the whole campground to ourselves. Kids played on the playground and we could not have been happier. Very convenient to I-90. We look forward to staying here again if we head back east.

New Frontier RV park is probably one of the finest you will find between Sioux Falls and the Black Hills on Interstate 90. Located in easy access to I-90 it is surprisingly quiet, and the facilities are impeccably maintained. The Brakke family, the long time owners of the park, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. No issue escapes their vision or concern. Do yourself a great favor and explore this great campground and the wonderful little town of Presho South Dakota. You'll want to return often.

My Pops, 2 labs and I stayed here one night while passing through the area doing some pheasant hunting. The owner was very accommodating to our last minute request for a campsite, had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. Place was very well taken care of and owner even moved a fire ring to our site that didnt have one. Would stay again in our travels! Thanks!
