Under Canvas Mount Rushmore

Amazing experience. 3 to 4 star room accomodations in a tent with great breakfast and dinner. Having the trout tonight. Bison burger yesterday. Rock solid. Under Canvas in South Dakota was amazing. The location was incredible. The views outstanding. The sunrise unreal. The staff were so accommodating especially Thomas and Will. We went to Mt Rushmore-its a must see. We went to Crazy Horse. To Spearfish Falls-fell in love with this location. To Jewel Cave-this was cool. The Badlands National Park-majestic. These are must see locations. This location of Under Canvas met all of my expectations. LOVED it. We will definitely be back.

Staying at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore was the highlight of our trip to SD! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and went above and beyond. A special shout out for Sam for accommodating our request for a yoga class. It was amazing and more so had a great view of Mount Rushmore during! The tents themselves were very clean and cozy and we would definitely return here on a future trip!

The perfect way to connect with nature without the camping preparation! The entire team was extremely nice. Kahranam (the gentleman from Turkey) gave us a very thorough check-in experience. I really appreciated the little tour and the portion of showing us how to use the lanterns and wood burning stove in the tent. It's never fun when you get to a room and you can't figure out how to turn on something as simple as a light. haha The room was BEAUTIFUL - it was the perfect mix of cozy and comfy and the stargazer window was so lovely while lying in bed. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly as well. We did the tie-dye activity on Friday night with Laurel which was a very unique activity - kind of took me back to the old camp activities as a kid. Although, my socks did not turn out the best - it was still super fun to try! Will was very informative with all of the extra activities being offered and Jason, also, took care of our broken tent zipper right away - the staff was impeccable! Yoga was a little chilly Sunday morning, but the view made it all worth it! Highly recommend visiting Under Canvas Mount Rushmore - it was such a blast!
