image We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating. We made last minute plans for a quick weekend getaway and they made it all possible. They went above and beyond! You couldnt meet a nicer couple. We give them 5 stars for their hospitality! Be sure to ask them for our evening drink in which we were unable to partake.

image We rented a cabin for a 3 night stay for my brother's wedding. I am more then impressed with the stay. The cabin was perfect and the owners where extremely nice. Even called to make sure we were warm enough or if we needed an extra heater or blankets. After our stay my wife and kids asked if we could make this a yearly family trip. Thank you to the staff for the great stay!

image Would have been a positive experience but our final minutes in this establishment soured the whole experience. I won't give my business to those who don't appreciate it. Room was ok. Office wasn't open when it was supposed to be. Wasn't coffee and donuts in the morning as advertised in the guide in the room. Outside of the peak season so I guess taking our money was an inconvenience. Checkout time apparently was 10:30. 11 is pretty standard for the industry so that's what we were shooting for. At 10:37 a man knocked on the door and was rude to my wife and told her we needed to be out ASAP and we were late. She said we would be out in ten minutes and he said he that wasn't fast enough. He must have had better things to do with his Saturday than do his job. This poor customer service and lack of hospitality is inexcusable. I realize it's not your peak season but if my business is an inconvenience then don't bother staying open. I'll be sure to spread the word to stay literally anywhere else.

Sorry you felt this way. We are a family owned business, and we truly appreciate everyone’s business, and treat all of our guest with the upmost respect. However, sometimes things happen and I remember that weekend and unfortunately, we had to close the lobby due to some unexpected repairs that needed to be done. I called you to let you know about the unfortunate situation, and offered to bring up some muffins and their breakfast goodies to your room and you declined. You mentioned you had a kid with gluten allergies and that’s when I told you I completely understand because I have a daughter with autism that is on a very strict diet. I know at times it can be difficult traveling with someone who has strict diet needs, or just special-needs in general. That’s when I told you about several local cafés and restaurants that served a hot breakfast and you seemed fine with that at the time. Regarding check out time it has always been 1030 and that’s how we advertise it. my husband and I we’re up in the laundry room at 10:30 saying goodbye to other guest and cleaning out some rooms when we saw your door open. My husband did a little knock and mentioned the checkout time and that’s when your wife said you would be out in about 10 minutes which is totally OK because we understand that not everyone is ready. I was standing right outside the door with him, and he was never once rude or disrespectful in anyway. It’s just funny how some people totally get the wrong impression or interpret things the wrong way.

image What a great place to stay! We booked a room in the lodge, but the owners called and said our room was being renovated, so we were upgraded to a cabin! The cabin was perfectthe bed and bedding were more comfortable than anyplace weve ever stayed. The cabin was so cozy, super clean, and a perfect location in the Hills. Cary & Melissa were awesome hosts and we will definitely stay here next time we come out!
Rooms: Extremely comfortable mattress & linens. Perfect size for just the two of us. Also had a large stock of big, fluffy towels. Must nicer towels than any hotels Ive been to.
Nearby activities: This lodge is right in the middle of many tourist sites. Very close to lots of restaurants, wineries, breweries. Easy to get to from all directions.
Safety: Felt very safe in the little circle of cabins. The property was well lit.
Food & drinks: We were offered a complimentary cocktail when we arrived. They had a nice grab & go breakfast and the lobby was so inviting in the mornings with the fireplace, candlesgreat atmosphere.
