I came here late September 2020. Barebones and basic, which is exactly how I prefer my campsites. The road can be a bit noisy, but the bubbling of the creek is an absolutely lovely way to fall asleep. Guy who ran the campsite was friendly, helpful, and gave us some great ideas for things to do in the area.

Beautiful place and awesome drive.
The only deal is the camp grounds are closed during the winter time.
There is off grid camping area you can go with no fees at all. It was a 15 minute drive to the off grid camping area from this spot

Cute campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Spot 19 is the best, with 5 being the second best. Camp host was super friendly and entertaining to talk with.

My daughter and I had a pleasant experience. It was beautiful and the creek was in inviting. You here helicopters all day though and the host seems like hes making some cash. He told me 6.00 a bundle until I went to get it then it was 7.50. I started not to get it then he said 7.00 so I got 1 bundle. Half was rotten. He also seemed to let people camp where the signs said day use only. If its a campsite it should just say that. He was also a little rude in his tone. All this led me to write a review and contact the Forestry Service folks. The vault toilets also are horrendous. The smell just carries in the breeze so you dont get much of a break from them. Its a nice spot but has some issues in my opinion. Try another spot if you would like a great experience.
