McDonald's

On a mad drive down to Nebraska - leaving snow and headed for tornadoes - the lady behind the counter, upon hearing what we all wanted made suggestions to make it cheaper for us based on their new specials. It wasn't busy since it was so late at night, but the two guys in the kitchen were on top of everything, including the substitutions that my kids asked for. Brilliant experience!

I wish all McDonald's were this good! Friendly and crazy fast. 3 kids meals and shamrock shakes were almost ready by the time we got to the 2nd window. Great job!

Overall had a good experience on our stop here. We were on a road trip to Mt Rushmore and stopped here for a quick bite. Took a little bit to get our food but once we got it everything but one thing was right. My mom went back to take the one thing that was wrong and the woman that cooked it was acting ugly telling her what she thought she heard and then grudgingly say that she is going to make another one. 20 mins go by and we still have not gotten that burger that was incorrect so my mom had to go back up there and get it from another worker. Everyone seemed alright besides the one rude lady there. I gave it a 4 star because of her being rude to my mom. No need being mad when you misheard the order.

Our order got messed up for one. They did not deliver our entire order for 2 and then they argued with me even when i pulled out my receipt i still didnt get my entire order. The sodas made me and my kids sick it tasted like cleaning solution. This was absolutely ridiculous.

I never have anything but the best experiences at this McDonalds. It seems that they are usually staffed up appropriately, which is the about the best indicator (not always the fact of course) of the experience at any restaraunt, fast food or otherwise. The food has always been made quickly, but never seems slopped together. We went inside today and could have overwhelmed them with the field trip group that we were with, but they made things quickly, and the few items accidently made extra, were quickly given away to the kid, making more fans of the place. The folks aren't always overly friendly, but generally very polite. Like I said, I've always had good experiences here, especially when comparing it to other fast food restaurants. My wife and I joke that it is the best fast food joint in the state. I don't want to get your hopes up unrealistically high, because it is just a McDonalds and I'm sure that they have off days depending on the workers, but I think that you are safe taking the chance of stopping here to eat.
