I'm thirteen years old and yesterday I paid 40 dollars for a haircut. I expected change, since that's legally what you're supposed to do, but I didn't get a dime back, she basically just said have a good day and bye which since my dad, who would've been the smarter person to ask for change, wasn't there to help me. It was my first haircut without my dad and boy do I regret it. I asked for layers, not that hard, and I even showed her multiple pictures. She was like "okay I can do that" and keep in mind, I have thick, wavy, hair, so when she got trimming, it didn't look any different than when I first came in. I thought that maybe it was cause my hair was too thick and she offered to thin it out "a bit" and I said, "sure, just a little bit" she started to part my hair and thin out large strands, making my hair look so much thinner than "a bit". She styled it with a wavy look, even though I pretty much expected a blow out since the photos I showed her were all pictures of blown out hair. She kept spraying stuff onto my hair and was actually really rough with my hair and when she had to hairdry it, she was putting the hot hairdryer really close to my scalp and it actually burned and hurt pretty bad. When the hair was finished, I was about to pay her and I was saying out loud the number of dollars I was like "35? Right? Okay. 20,10, and two fives? Or just a ten. Yeah ten, so ill just get money back. " I hand the money to her and she walks away with it right as another customer is coming in getting seated in the chair or what not. It's day two of my hair and when I look at it now, it simply looks like she gave me a bob, way shorter than I wanted it to. I didn't get what I asked for whatsoever. And my hair is so thin I can't do anything with it. No pony tails, no bun, no braids,. I can barely do a thing with my hair. Very disappointed. If I could, I'd give zero stars. She tries to act all nice and stuff, and she's Christian so I'll give her that, but she isn't as skilled with hair as I expected from her "17 years of experience" stated on her website. She does what SHE wants with your hair, not what you want. Im so pressed about it since my hair takes a long time to grow. So, please, take this review into account and go to Razor's Edge. Linda has been working there for a couple months, but she at one point had her own business and she's very skilled. Gives you exactly what you want and even better than you could imagine. I should've just gone to her. Again, don't go to b.beautiful unless you want a styled bob for 40 dollars. Oh, and not to mention, half of the reviews seem fake, especially the ones promoting her product. They were all posted around the same time and talk about the exact same thing. No thanks for the haircut, I didn't get any layers in my hair. Guess I was just her practice canvas. Gosh just don't go here.

My friend went to get a haircut here and was so disappointed. She showed a bunch of photos of what she wanted and the stylist didn't do anything like it. Now she can't even put her hair up. She use to have the most luxurious and thick hair but the stylist thinned so much that her volume is all gone. Do NOT go here. She also didn't give back change. $37 with tax so she gave a $40; no change was given back. This place is horrible so I recommend going literally anywhere else.

Great little place for children's haircuts.
