Weve had a loan with First Franklin for several months. Last week I received a call that we had money available if we needed it. I did not ask to add to the loan at the time but they called me to offer it. I declined. However, yesterday I decided to call and see about adding what was available and after several hours of questions and running around gathering the information required a second person called me and said we couldnt add to the loan. The first woman told me one thing but the second told me another. One of the issues was a $3 balance on a credit card. And the other was closed bank account. But I feel like it could have been handled differently. Not only did they call to offer the added funds but my husband, who is a business owner, lost out on several hundred dollars of work to gather the information requested. After this situation I think its best we pay off the loan and end our relationship with First Franklin. I personally would not recommend and would look elsewhere. Also, their interest rates are ridiculous.
