        Leaving 1 star to let people know that it's currently closed. I also submitted an edit suggestion to mark as temporarily closed. There's a fence around the parking lot with construction equipment sitting there.

        This WAS a nice little nature walk but what is up with this town not repairing the boardwalks that were damaged over three years ago with the tornadoes in April of 2020?????? The bigwigs in town want to brag about the sanctuary but it would help if it was usable and not in such disrepair! You can't brag on something you can't use!!!!

        The park IS open, only some of the boardwalks are closed for maintenance. Very nice trail to walk, lots of birds and mushrooms to observe. It was a nice place to get out and stretch during our trip.
