Wonderful practice! Dr. Blubaugh is one of the best doctors I have ever seen as a patient. Everyone was great. I couldn't ask for better care.

I have been trying to find a reputable, efficient, modern doctor office with better billing practices than my previous one. I had high hopes for this office and Im desperate for a doctor to keep an eye on my health from a strategic point of view. Appt #1 I was in the waiting room for 1.5 hours, brought back to the room, and waited so long the lights turned off a dozen times. I had to keep wiggling my arm to turn them back on. Met with Dr. Blubaugh who was honestly pretty amazing. I appreciated his honesty, his recommendations, and his approach to care. Making lifestyle changes, etc. so my review is NOT a reflection of him. I left that appt. Late for a meeting at work and 2.5 hours missing on my timesheet (even showed up early). There was never even an apology by office staff or nurses for getting me back so late. Shows a lack of concern for my time also being valuable as an individual. But I figured hey, maybe theyre understaffed and struggling so I brushed it off and scheduled my follow up for a month later after implementing some of the changes. Today was appt#2. I arrived on time for my appointment and checked in, paid the copay. Was told theyd call me back shortly. I usually expect a 15-20 minute delay on doctors appointments by default but when it started getting to the 45 minute mark I asked if I would get called back soon because I only have so much time on a work break. Taking a day off for an appointment just isnt feasible. If it was I would find a doctor in Charleston. I was told they should be calling me back shortly. 1 hour of wait time in the waiting room and I decided to go up and cut my losses. They issued a refund and the receptionist was nice enough, Im sure overworked, so again not a reflection on her either. The office really should focus on letting patients know if their wait is going to be longer than 15 minutes. Give us the same courtesy that we are expected to provide you. Now Im forced to find a doctor in another county because Ive exhausted all my options here. Just disappointed. If you dont work and you have hours to spend waiting on an appointment the sure, they are a great office. But if you work, have kids, have a family, etc. then I would find somewhere else.

My wife had an appointment and was told to arrive early that she may be seen ahead of set time. 2 hours later and she is still in doctors office. I went in to check on her and stood there for ,5 minutes without even being acknowledged. Good place if you have all day to waste!
