        The food was overcooked. The people there acted as if I should not have come in. I have been to Captain D's all over this country this was the worst experience. This was the one on South Pike Road. Wheelchair accessibility: Very difficult.

        This place just needs to go ahead and close. Id give it 0 stars if I cld. The only car at the drive thru and we sat there for all of 10 min just to receive cold food. The corn looks nibbled on already. And these hush puppies need to be used as weapons!! Called the store just to be told to bring it back for hot food!! Huh?! On whos gas? Comp me the next visit, simple. Bring back what?! So you can throw it out and cook me fresh food? At least my cats and dog enjoyed it!!

        Yeah. I wont be back! Restaurant needs a makeover! The staff was okay and some were friendly and one acted like I was interfering with her day!

      At our Sumter, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee.
