Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sumter, SC

It's clean and the rate isn't bad. It's close to restaurants and the interstates and routes. The staff however is beautiful! Especially the front desk. Unfortunately I had a run in with a bigot on my last day and it pushed me out of character. I would stay here again regardless. Wear earplugs though because some people pull into the restaurants with their music blasing at night. They need a noise ordinance.

We left 45 minutes after getting there. The rooms were filthy. We tried two rooms. The first was the worst. The carpet had not been vacuumed, there were stains everywhere, the furniture was beat up, there was a dead roach, and it smelled like pot. They switched us to to another room. It wasnt much better. And the bathroom had not been cleaned. So we left. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Though the excuse we were given was that they were short staffed. I understand its hard when your short staffed. But why would you offer rooms that havent been cleaned. Thats unsanitary. I dont blame the staff. Theyre doing the best they can. Its clear the owners are at fault.
