    Home2 Suites by Hilton was such a great stay! The staff was super friendly and accommodating with my dog while my sister was staying there. The rooms were spacious with a full kitchen. Highly recommend when you visit Summerville!

    If you are a Hilton brand fan, this property will be sure to disappoint. This property does not exude the Hilton experience by any means. The air conditioning unit is loud, there are pieces of food in the air conditioning vents, the couch has holes and what appears to be scratch marks from an animal, blankets have stains, the floors are filthy as indicated by the dirty footprint on the wet shower floor every time, the shampoo dispenser was empty on arrival, and theres hand soap in the shower instead of body wash. I travel a lot and was using points for this stay, but I feel theyve been wasted. The only plus is the friendly staff. UPDATE: I reached out to the front desk as the hotel reply recommended, was asked what I expected, and was told I could get another room in the morning. Really not friendly when I mentioned that I was referred to call the front desk for help. Even gave my room number to the lady at the front desk when I called and absolutely no follow-up. Now waiting on Hilton customer service which can take 7-10 days due to their backlogand Im only halfway through my vacation :/ #wastedpoints UPDATE #2: So, we checked out early and are moving to another property. The GM did work with me on a fair compensation agreement that I am satisfied with. It sounds like they know this property has some deficiencies and they are in the process of making it better.

    A live roach crawled onto the desk and lingered until I smashed it. The bath stall had hairs in them (not mine), and the toilet had tissue in the bowl not flushed. There was a candy wrapper from a previous guest that my dog got at before I could get to it. Luckily she didnt get sick. If the candy in it had high levels of chocolate or xylitol, that could have caused a serious adverse health consequence. The hotel also charges a parking fee and if your room is adjoined to the room next door,you will hear your hotel guests conversations. One positive is that the man at the front desk was helpful when I informed him about the noise and the room neighbors left to the pools after I informed them I had been up 24 hours and would go get coffee and come back when the kids were asleep/quiet. I didnt stay the night after the roach crawled out and after I read reviews about rooms in the hotels that had bed bugs.

    Arrived late from New England on a PCS military move. When we arrived the location was great . Next to shopping center and places to eat. The front lobby was nice clean. When we walked into our room. It had a must wet smell, the blanket were sheets. The light flickered. I wanted to make sure no bed bugs were present and roaches. So I looked behind the mini fridge and nothing. While my husband went to the car, I decided to look behind the microwave to find rat/ mice droppings. It was so disgusting, I couldnt even believe that this room was checked prior to us getting us checked in. I honestly dont even know when this room was service by the smell of the room. Well it was already 11:30pm. I went down stairs . I wanted to leave. I was trying to find different hotels and I couldnt find anything . They located us to a different room twice and it had to do. Honestly I just cant believe that this even happened. Total health violation. I did report this to the health department. That way they are aware because they do serve breakfast which I did not eat. They did apologized and comp. Our room but honestly it still grossed me. Unfortunately I dont think I will ever stay in Summerville ever again because of this. They also ran out of blankets and offered my son a bed skirt for a blanket that had stains on it. Rooms: Dirty smell, Safety: Rat/mouse feces, health hazard, dangerous

image If you are a Hilton brand fan, this property will be sure to disappoint. This property does not exude the Hilton experience by any means. The air conditioning unit is loud, there are pieces of food in the air conditioning vents, the couch has holes and what appears to be scratch marks from an animal, blankets have stains, the floors are filthy as indicated by the dirty footprint on the wet shower floor every time, the shampoo dispenser was empty on arrival, and theres hand soap in the shower instead of body wash.
