I had the pleasure of being contacted by interventionist for my child whom didnt even introduce her title or reason for call before completely demeaning me and talking down on me
Contacted the teach to make them aware and in hopes the principal would care enough to reach out. That did not happen! This school year was nightmare and I never received any form of support from my childrens teachers. Do yourself the favor and option 3 homeschool. Connections academy isnt worth the headache or allowing yourself to be attacked by a member of their staff with no reprimand to the staff member

My high schooler and middle schooler are in their second year here. They work independently, email teachers when needed- if I need to reach out the response is so quick and teachers and staff are very helpful.. (No bouncing around through automated options like previous online school!) I have the ability to see what they are working on through my portal.

Main issue I have is no one seems to be on the same page. And it is hard to get the assistance you need sometimes. But overall I love the teachers and so glad we have more freedom of not being stuck at all a public school.

Never got past the enrollment process. Weeks went by and my children were still not in school. Customer service never could fully explain where I was at in the process and when I was told one thing it would turn out to not be true. Nadine, who is a manager kept telling me they don't request transcripts from previous school, but one of their guidance counselors did just that within 10 minutes of me emailing her. Nadine did not like that I pointed out that one of the Low country Connections Academy employees got my children's transcripts and records and she archived my application and removed all my uploaded documents to be spiteful. One last observation that I had made is that there is no call center like they say. I had spoken to two different reps who told me they worked from home with one having young children screaming and crying in the background which made it hard to hear her. I question the quality of education this school has to offer. Overall, I would recommend a much more knowledgeable and organized school- your children deserve that. We ended up going with Acellus and paying the $80 monthly fee and has been going great! They started the same day and we didn't have to jump through hoops for weeks with silliness and not knowing what is going on.
