Do you like bbq? Do you enjoy amazing service? Do you love being by the water? Well then, why are you even looking at reviews? Because, it doesnt get better than HOMETEAM. I grew up in Columbia South Carolina, where we were lucky enough to get a home team barbecue that opened up right before I graduated. When I moved to Charleston to start my career and I found out I highly recommend asking for Peyton or Cam as they will make this unbelievable experience this is where they were founded I was immediately more attracted to the locally owned establishment with amazing Que. If you have the luxury of making it to the Sullivan Island location, I highly recommend you ask for Peyton and or Cam. As they will take this experience to an elevated level for you. 10 out of 5 stars a full send, as the kids would say.

There were four of us and we each ordered the Hometown salad with a different meat. Excellent food, service was great. If I find myself back in the area I will definitely make it a point to dine here again:)

Bit small and cramped, they don't offer fries, and the pork was waaaaay over salted. Our server was phenomenal, and that is the only reason I will rate 3 stars.

Great service and solid South Carolina bbq. This is a great spot for families or larger groups looking for a solid meal. Shoutout to our server, Camden who was our best server during our stay in South Carolina. He made the night with his attentiveness and care. Hes a great addition to the Home Team!

This was one of the best dining experiences I had while in the Charleston area. We loved the tots and queso, brisket, beans, and banana pudding. And shoutout to our server, CAMDEN, who took great care of us.
