Charter - Spectrum Cable

This has got to be one of the worst companies I believe Ive dealt with in my time, and everyone else who has used charter says the same thing. I will say in all fairness that the internet works fine, but thats ALL I wanted- last year, I had a random 30 dollar increase in my monthly payment, and it was supposedly for a tv channel bundle that I didnt ask for when I first started my service. I called customer service to try and have it removed, and the moron I spoke to insisted that *I* specifically asked for the tv service a year prior and basically told me I was a liar. At the end of the call, he said he would add some kind of discount to cover for the raise of my monthly premium- which, turned out to be a lie because my premium didnt change. I was pretty ticked off about that, but I decided to let it go and just pay the extra damn fee. This year, my payment has magically increased yet another 20 dollars, yet this time, theres no explanation. No incentive for the additional service, no increase in quality of service, just taking more money. I dont know if maybe its my fault, and theres a tiny line in a contract somewhere that reads we reserve the right to charge you more money for absolutely no reason whatsoever but i will certainly be ending my service with charter and anyone I meet I will be sure to tell them to avoid charter like the plague. I may even go out of my way to get people to switch to a different internet provider and I dont even work for an internet servicing company. I give this 1 star, and only because I cant give 0. What a crooked company.

There are more outages then there are answers. And the price keeps going up. You will see better results from your state tax to fix potholes before you get good service. It's garbage. I'll be canceling my serves within the week. 5 years and it just gets worse.
