Aside from being Spartanburg's premier realtor, Cindy is one of the most special people you will ever meet. She knows the city and realty business inside and out and I think she knows everyone single of the city's residence too. She is knowledgeable about the areas future development plans and the various attributes of the locations within the region. She is literally a wealth of knowledge! In addition to that, she is fun to work with. I have worked with Cindy on three transactions within the city, each with their own unique circumstances, and it was only with Cindy's experience, knowledge, guidance, and friendship that I was able to navigate these waters. In addition, she recommended a realtor in a coastal location to me whom I also found to be a pleasure to work with. On the most recent transaction which was just completed, 7/31/2023, she had to have been asking herself, "what am I going to do with this guy?" Cindy Barrett with Keller Williams Realty Eastside in Spartanburg, SC listed my house for sale in June 2022 while the real estate market was still quite strong. She secured a full price offer within a few weeks, but the buyers backed out soon thereafter. Then as the market continued to sour, she employed every known real estate marketing tactic available to her up to and including advertising with flyers, pictures and videos in distant markets known to send buyers to our area of Spartanburg county. Even in the depths of market turmoil with rising interest rates and falling home prices, she managed to attract potential buyers through showings of the property. It took nearly a full year to secure a firm offer and that $15K above the asking price. Needless to say we were ecstatic. Cindy was ever the professional real estate agent, attentive, communicative and instantly responsive to any questions. She never gave up and in the darkest days of the market decline, she was ever the optimistic innovator trying new and creative approaches to marketing the property to finally achieve success under difficult circumstances.
