        I would like to just Thank Spartanburg Steel for how they shaped me into the person I am today. I started there in 1989 as a maintenance mechanic under Harley Inman. Great guy who put me often with Junior Moss who taught me the trade. I learned so much about being a mechanic from this great man. I used their education promotion and earned my BS from USCS in Business. While going to School i was moved to Accounting for 6 months. I decided to move back to Maintenance and was soon promoted to Stamping Supervisor under another man that really influenced my life. Thomas Benson was one of the smartest and most driven individuals I ever met. I have tried to model myself as a Manager throughout my life as I was taught by Thomas. Thank you Spartanburg Steel, as I enter retirement i want everyone to know how this Company influenced my life. Kevin Verrall
