Shannon Rogers, LISW-CP

I first started seeing Shannon individually after my engagement with my fiance. She was extraordinarily helpful to me and us in blending out two families. We have faced many challenges as a couple navigating the difficulties that arise when doing so -- I don't know how we could have made it work as smoothly as we did without her. She has also helped me emmensly in dealing with family issues and the anxiety that I have experienced. She is thoughtful, easy to talk to, and is insistant that I leave her office with a strategy that always helps me accomplish the goals that I want to work on. She is solution focused and very positive. She doesn't just let me sit there and feel sorry for myself. She gives me solutions and has helped me grow as a partner, daughter, sister and friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

She showed up a minute before our appointment, wasnt prepared, read her notes to us at the beginning of our session, told us her rent went up and our session would be $50/hr more than previously without notice, chooses a different side each time and recently said to me Well, get a divorce then during our marriage counseling. Shes extremely unprofessional and made us feel worse than when we came in. She needs therapy herself! Absolutely terrible experience!

I called and left a message with Shannon and she called me back. Even though she didn't accept my insurance she was more than willing to bend over backwards to try and help me find someone who did and told me I was free to call her back for her help if I hit any roadblocks!! She was a breath of fresh air just talking to her in the time we talked!! Just by talking to her, I know she is a beautiful person and if I can't find a counselor who takes my insurance I will most definitely call her back!! I would highly recommend Shannon to everyone who needs someone who is a great listener, very understanding, and one who will challenge you to do better each day!! This woman is amazing!!
