Last week Unfortunately I received ridiculously poor service once the technician arrived at my home. Because I didnt want to frick with it I called Floyds real early morning and the dispatcher had a technician return my call. The technician did make me a priority and added me to his already busy schedule. After the tech being at my house for about 20 minutes, he called me back and told me to not even mess with my AC system to just replace it and then carried on that it was possibly just a defrost control board but he wasnt sure. He assured me he would call me back with an estimate on the defrost board replacement cost. Of course, I never received a callback.. first off its a $10,000 AC system its not a dryer. He absolutely did zero diagnostics, took zero time to put the unit in a defrost test cycle(a video available on YouTube any Billy Bob can look up) the tech basically just didnt want to fool with my unit because it wasnt the quick fix he was hoping for. I was charged $135 for nothing but him pulling in my driveway. No diagnosis or explanation of what was wrong with my unit nor did I get a returned call with an estimate. I knew he was never going to call me back but I was gonna give him a chance on his word. I took the time to download the service manual and watched the free video available on YouTube of how to test the units defrost board and actually diagnosed that the unit is low on refrigerant, added the 410a refrigerant, while adding a sealer to get me by for now. Generally adding sealer is a temporary fix. My family has heat. As a business owner of an appliance company who also runs service calls and has technicians if we absolutely dont want to mess with an appliance and dont provide a service for my customers they arent charged. Going forward I hope this company learns from this review and understands this was borderline a scam fee.

Excellent workers, professional and quick to do a good job. They know how to explain the problem in a way that a novice can understand. They come in, do the job, and give good advice.
