We hired Blastek Concrete Designs (BCD) to finish the floor in the basement of our new home. BCD is a family company comprised of Toby and his son. They arrived on time to review the space we needed BCD to finish, and gave us clear options for going forward. We settled on a path forward and they pursued it with gusto. When it came time to implement the solution we selected, they arrived early to begin the job, worked hard on the floor while protecting the walls and baseboards in the space, and gave consideration to us and to the other subs in the house, which I found particularly considerate -- they waited to apply the highly volatile and pungent finish coats until everyone else had left for the day. Before they got to the last steps, they ensured they were heading in the right direction by placing sample areas in an out-of-the-way space in the basement. Once the final coats had been applied, they reached out to us to make sure we were satisfied and that nothing else was required. Lastly, they came back a day later to make sure everything cured properly, and confirmed with us our satisfaction. Short version: you should hire them, too.
