        My husband and I have been going to H&R Block for years. We have NEVER had an issue. Filing for 2022, we unexpectedly got back nothing. When inquiring about it, we discovered information was left off of our tax return so we now have back owed taxes for 2 years. Once amendments were done, we still got back nothing, and also had to amend our 2020 taxes. When speaking to the IRS recently, It was discovered that on the amended return the wrong amount was entered. Considering we pay every year for the peace of mind and then almost $500 or more to file our taxes, you think H&R Block would do the right thing and help us out a little with what's owed to us since the peace of mind is suppose to cover up to 1 million dollars. We no, they aren't. All they say is it's an IRS waiting game and they are behind. For a family that struggles to make ends meet, this has been hell. Spoke with another Tax office yesterday, and their fee is only $250 to file and my family has been going there for decades and has had no trouble. Don't over pay to do your taxes and the peace of mind promise obviously doesn't really mean anything.
