The most honest and educated review that you are going to hear. Forget all of these other reviews because I too was ignorant just like them at first. Does this this program work? Yes. Are the staff friendly and good at their jobs? Absolutely. Is physical therapy and super minor "non-invasive" adjustments the quickest, safest and most effective way to fix posture and pain? NO. Absolutely not. Once again, I'll reinstate that this program most definitely helped me. But there's a lot missing. And a lot of MONEY WASTED. The first thing you should know about: Unlike most chiropractors, this place will lock you into an entire program. If you want a chiropractor that you can casually visit and not commit nearly 2,000 dollars or more to... AVOID this place. What they will say is that you NEED to commit to a multiple month program and visit them multiple days a week. It is true that spinal adjustments are just adjustments. It doesn't permanently fix the issue unless certain muscles are trained. After all, what do you think holds your skeleton together? That is why most of your time and money here is going to spent with their PT's teaching you exercises. All that money, for exercises you can learn and do by yourself on the internet if you have the self discipline. My biggest gripe with Dr. Black along with most of the people in his industry is the hardnosed absolutism mentality about exercise. Proclaiming that this is the only way to fix things. The problem with western world alternative medicine is the lack and denial of medical/clinical massage therapy. This targets the "belly" or center of these muscles. Something that exercises will never do. I'm happy to say that I am now a student of myo-structural bodywork. Because I'm tired of all these industries and their 'one size fits all' formats. Because I want to treat people in the most efficient, personalized and cost effective way possible. Allow me to give you an example. It took 4 months in this Healthsource program to fix my "short leg syndrome" A very common case where basically one of your legs (the right leg for most people) is slightly shorter than the other due to postural pelvic tilt. During student clinical practice, A STUDENT, not a DOCTOR re-corrected the same issue on me in ONE HOUR. And I could feel the difference the moment I stood up. 4 months or 1 hour? Which sounds better to you? That's what happens when you deeply examine someone and work with their soft tissues. Instead of making someone do standardized exercises 4 days a week. All of our bodies are very different. If you truly want to be free of pain, source a plethora of different solutions that fit your own body. Be it physical therapy, acupuncture, yoga, Rolfing, chiro adjustments or clinical bodywork. Don't let anyone tell you that their way is the only way. Just remember, without good muscle stability... Your bones are never going to magically fall into place. Manual therapy can be much more effective and affordable than programs like this.
PS They passively manipulate clients to write only 5 star reviews. Sorry you couldn't control me. I probably have a bounty on my head now.
