Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Orangeburg, SC

After a long 9 hour drive from Florida we settled into our room. Very nice. Only issue was the A/C wasn't working due to the thermostat being broken. Not that it was overly warm for this time of year (mid March) but being from Toronto, Canada it was warm for us! The night auditor Kevin was absolutely fantastic. We were moved to a bigger room where the A/C worked and not only that but for the inconvenience of moving rooms he gave us a $30.00 discount. It was three weeks ago and I didn't forget and Kevin I told you I'd highly recommend you and your staff especially you for outstanding customer service! Ms Chantel and Ms Iesha took very good care of me and my boyfriend this past week ! We were unaware that it was leak in our room and the front desk was so kind to move our room to a suite at no fee ! Beautiful experience and will be booking again !

We just checked in when a beggar hassled us in our car in the parking lot. I waved him away, and he raised his voice, saying he needed help. He banged on the window. I opened the door, asked what the emergency was. He tried to lure me out of the car. I raised my voiced and finally ran away, as I am 62 250+. The front desk clerk said he routinely does this, and by the time the police comes, he runs off. NO SECURITY HERE FOLKS. NEVER COMING NEAR THIS PLACE AGAIN. WARNING.

This was a decent hotel. Nice staff, room was well taken care of. However, we did have one big issue. We stayed at this hotel on our way to Florida. We were all ready to hit the pool when we went to the desk and were told it was closed. The website didnt say a single thing about the pool being opened seasonally. So what Im trying to say is that the people that run the website need to update it more often. Really disappointed, and will most definitely not be choosing this place again.
