Buckle

I was visiting in town and immediately came to Buckle because it's always a safe bet.. well, usually. I really appreciate the staff at every location I've been to (most frequently the Mount Pleasant and Greenville SC locations) that help you find an outfit and gives suggestions. Fashion is not my strong suit so the helpful staff usually means more than they know. HOWEVER this location has been the ONLY one I've ever left in almost tears. I have two stars instead of 1 because at least my husband and I were greeted, however the staff were converged around a folding table and chatting. Not once did we get asked if we needed any help, not once did anyone even speak to me while I looked around, obviously confused (my face does not hide emotions well). Finally I told my husband I wanted to leave because no one was helping me, then a staff member overheard and rushed over to help my husband. Not me. I then told them I did not see much in my size, she shrugged and said "yeah, we don't carry a lot of Large or XLarge". Your employees couldn't be pulled from their conversations to help customers who would have shelled out hundreds - this is one store I will drop money in. However, this location left me in almost tears as I was ignored and deemed not worthy of their time, yet my husband was. I could care less if some little girl wanted to dote on him, heck, takes the stress off me finding myself and him an outfit, however I was also shopping too and no one so much as looked my way or moved their cart so I could browse sections they were blocking. We left with a pair of jeans for my husband and that was it. Please do better. Buckle was a trusted place for me to go and feel safe finding something to wear and getting help - this single location has ruined that for the brand for me.

They carry sullen shirts, so we stopped in.
